The Gopher is an Irish-inspired basement bar and live music venue tucked beneath Manly’s Corso, bringing a little old-school Hell’s Kitchen grit to the Northern Beaches. Built around the story of New York’s infamous Gopher Gang, the venue pairs dark timber, leather booths and low lighting with cold stout, hearty pub fare and live music that keeps things going well into the night.
For us, this one hit particularly close to home… quite literally. The Gopher is our local, so we wanted to make sure it was extra special. From initial idea and brand conceptualisation through to storytelling, interior feature direction, activations and the full brand rollout, we helped create a Manly bar with a strong sense of place, plenty of personality, community focused and just the right amount of mischief. A proper local built to suggest there’s always room for one more Guinness.
